Less and Better?

Less and Better? is an eight-episode series and winner of a 2024 Independent Podcast Award co-produced with Katie Revell. The show is based on 20 original interviews conducted with a wide range of people, including farmers, researchers, and entrepreneurs, and has over 42,000 listens.

Working with Farmerama Radio, I conceived the idea for the podcast, developed a successful application for funding from the A Team Foundation and the Roddick Foundation, and was responsible for both project management and production. Katie and I have signed a contract to turn the show into a book.

Alongside my co-producer and the rest of the team at Farmerama, I:

  • conducted extensive research;

  • developed a novel collaborative podcast presentation format;

  • wrote the script for the show;

  • recorded narration for the show;

  • sourced and contracted show artwork and music; and

  • drafted all episodes.
